It is such a popular scene about outdoor Christmas decorations that it is not uncommon to hear the term “Griswold” as a slang term for someone who completes and outdoor Christmas decoration display that is over-the-top for excessiveness.

There are many different ways to decorate for the holidays using outdoor Christmas decorations.
